Scampston Hall near Malton will be the base for the 2016 Trackrod Rally which will again use the very best of the famous Yorkshire forest stages on Friday 30th September and Saturday 1st October.
The compact route, which is a popular feature of the rally is a prominent feature again this year. The plan for 2016 is to start the rally from the Central Service Park based at Adderstone Arena in Dalby Forest, which will reduce road mileage still further. As usual, the main action for the rally will be on the classic gravel stages in the Yorkshire forests.
The Trackrod Historic Cup will start at 7pm on Friday, while on Saturday the first car will start at 9.30am and return to the finish at around 3.15pm after two visits to the main service area.
We need marshals for many roles; primarily In-Stage Marshals, Radio Crews, Start Crews, and Finish Crews. We would like to get as many people as possible to aid the safe running of this event and therefore would like to invite you to join us.
I’m sure that many of you are aware of the additional requirements that RallyFuture has brought about. This means we need as many marshals as possible to help with the smooth running of the event. Whatever your skill level, we can find a suitable role for you. We can also arrange for any new marshal to be teamed with a suitably trained person for the day.
May we recommend that all marshals undertake the MSA online accreditation (if you have not already done so), which ensures everyone has the basic skills needed. This can be done by logging on to the MSA website:
