At regular intervals throughout the year the MSA publish and distribute a newsletter for scrutineers. As a benefit to all member clubs of the AWMMC we will upload them to the website so that you read them.
The 2017 Heart of England Championship Draft Supplementary Regulations and Registration form have now been uploaded to the website. Click here to view.
With the quiet time in motor sport events over the Christmas and New Year period its good to start making some plans for something to do in the early part of 2017, and the Historic Rally Car Register [HRCR] have come up with what could be the perfect start to the New Year.
For some years now HRCR have held their Annual Open Day at the British Motor Museum at Gaydon, which in itself it an opportunity to see some lovely cars on display as well as to see what events and Championships the Club will be running during the year. However this year they are expanding the day to include a Motoring News Rally Forum to mark the 30th anniversary of the end of the era which was the Motoring News Rally Championship.
The Open Day will run from 10.00am to around 3.00pm and this will be followed by a Rally Forum at 5.00pm with guests in attendance who became icons of the Championship over the years and will be hosted by the now legendary Howard Davies, who himself was a competitor with Gwyndaf Evans. To fill in the gap between the two events HRCR are providing meals so its an ideal opportunity to make it a whole day event.
More details are available below and also importantly the link to the website where tickets can be purchased and food ordered. As the info says this will be a very popular occasion and tickets are limited to 200 so attendees will need to book early to avoid disappointment.
The 2017 Member Club Event Dates form has also been uploaded to the website and you can find it here.
These dates get published in the Association Yearbook and will also be published on the AWMMC website for the first time, so it is an opportunity for you to promote your event for FREE!! We would also like to make the 2017 dates calendar as comprehensive as possible so please let us have your dates by the 5th November.
As usual at this time of year the MSA and the British Motor Sport Training Trust (BMSTT) invite clubs or organisiation to submit notice of their intent to hold training events in 2017. These events may be able to receive a grant. The documents required to be completed for this are available for download in the links below. They can also be found on The MSA Website.
